How Online Medical Evaluations Work

An online evaluation is the same clinical visit you'd have in an office — with a physician licensed in your state — held over HIPAA-compliant video instead of a waiting room.

The four steps

1. Complete the online application

It takes less than 5 minutes. You'll share your contact details, address, medical history, the conditions you'd like evaluated, and upload the front and back of your driver's license. Some states ask for a few extra details.

2. Choose your appointment time

Pick any open 15-minute slot between 9am and 9pm ET, seven days a week. Same-day times are usually available. Your slot is held once payment is complete.

3. Meet your physician by video

At your appointment time, join our secure waiting room from your phone or computer. The physician reviews your history, answers your questions, and determines whether you qualify.

4. Get certified

If you're approved, the physician submits your certification to your state's program. Most patients are certified the same day or within 24 hours. Not approved? You get a 100% refund.

What you'll need on hand

· A valid, unexpired state driver's license or ID (front and back photos)
· Your current address in the state where you're applying
· Any medical records or documentation of your condition, if you have them
· A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a stable connection
· A quiet, private place for the visit

Privacy and security

Your visit runs in an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant waiting room — nothing is recorded. Documents you upload are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are visible only to your care team.
