Same-Day Telehealth Appointments: What to Expect
Telehealth removed the biggest hurdle in getting evaluated: the waiting room. Most patients book, attend, and finish on the same day.
When appointments are available
Slots are released in 15-minute intervals between 9 AM and 9 PM Eastern. Unpaid reservations are released back to the calendar after 20 minutes, so booked-looking times often reopen.
How to prepare
A short checklist keeps the visit to a few minutes:
- A quiet space with a stable internet connection
- Your government-issued ID nearby
- A list of current medications
- Any records or notes about your condition
Joining your visit
At your appointment time you open the secure video waiting room link from your confirmation. No app install or account is required.
Booking takes less than five minutes, and same-day appointments are usually available.
